Document Scanning and Indexing

We are manufacturer of cement and cement related products based in Australia.

Recently we decided to close one our manufacturing plants which has operated on the same site since the early 1900s.

We have a need to index all of the documents held on site as we are also involved in court proceedings. The purpose of the index would be to ascertain what documentation is:

of historic value to the company and should be retained;
irrelevant and can be destroyed in due course;
potentially relevant and may be required to be discovered as part of the legal proceedings. These documents would then need to be made available to our lawyers for use on their system (Ringtail).

We estimate that there about 500 archive boxes worth of material that needs to be scanned and processed for the purpose of creating a database and index of all documents.
